An energy-efficient solution for the bread industry
Between 2019 and 2023, the number of Brazilian bakeries increased from 240,000 to 295,000, reaching a new record. According to Sindipan-MT, 76% of Brazilians eat traditional bread for breakfast every day, and the Brazilian Association of the Bakery and Confectionery Industry (ABIP) states more than 70,000 bakeries are spread across Brazil. In 2021, the bakery and confectionery market had revenues of R$105.85 billion ($20 billion USD) in the country, a growth of 15.3% compared to 2020.
